What is Preserve Eagle?
Preserve Eagle is a group of residents with a common interest in preserving the qualities that make Eagle a unique and desirable city in which to live.
Our two house seats in Legislative District #14, currently held by Raul Labrador (Eagle) and Mike Moyle (Star), and one senate seat, currently held by Stan Bastian (Eagle), are up for election in 2008. The primaries will be held on May 27, 2008. The General Election is November 4, 2008
Two council seats, those currently held by Steve Guerber and Phil Bandy's appointed councilman, will be up for election in November of 2009.
We will have information on our choice for candidates during each election.
The 2007 Preserve Eagle Candidates were Michael Huffaker, Al Shoustarian and Saundra McDavid
Al Shoushtarian
Al Shoushtarian was elected to Eagle city council during the 2007 elections. He received the most votes of any city councilman in the history of Eagle.

Saundra McDavid
Saundra McDavid is running for State Senate for District 14.
Saundra McDavid won the general election for Eagle Mayor with a margin of 10% over the second place finisher, Councilman Phil Bandy. She was narrowly defeated in the runoff by 153 votes. Eagle experienced a record turnout of voters during the Mayoral runoff election.
McDavid will continue to be an active voice in the community, and has created a blog where she reflects on community and political issues. The blog can be found on her website saundramcdavid.com.
