Preserve Eagle is a group of residents with a common interest in preserving the qualities that make Eagle a unique and desirable city in which to live.

Two council seats, those currently held by Steve Guerber and Phil Bandy's appointed councilman, Norm Semanko, will be up for election in November of 2009.

We will have information on our choice for candidates during each election.

Al Shoushtarian was elected to Eagle city council during the 2007 elections. He received the most votes of any city councilman in the history of Eagle.

Saundra McDavid won the general election for Eagle Mayor with a margin of 10% over the second place finisher, Councilman Phil Bandy. She was narrowly defeated in the runoff by 153 votes. Eagle experienced a record turnout of voters during the Mayoral runoff election.

McDavid will continue to be an active voice in the community, and has created a blog where she reflects on community and political issues. The blog can be found on her website saundramcdavid.com.
